§ Tutorial

Build your page, start to finish.

Everything you need to get a polished seasea page live. It takes about three minutes — do it on your phone, where your photos and TikToks already are.

1

Create your account

Tick that you run a UK business, then add your email and a password. There's no confirmation link to wait for — you're signed in straight away and can start building.

  • Use an email you check — that's where receipts and any account messages go.
  • seasea is for businesses, not the general public.
2

Add your business basics

Tell us your business name and trade, and pick your @handle. Your handle becomes your page's web address, so keep it short and recognisable.

  • Pick a handle close to your business name — it's what people will type and share.
  • Choose the trade that best matches what you do; it sets where you appear in the directory.
3

Set your address and area

Start typing your address and pick it from the list — we'll drop a pin on the map. Then choose the areas you actually cover, so the right customers find you.

  • Cover the towns you'll genuinely travel to, not the whole country.
  • If you work from home and would rather not show the exact address, you can still set your area.
4

Add hours and contact details

Add your opening hours and the ways customers can reach you — phone, WhatsApp, Instagram. The more ways to get in touch, the more enquiries you'll get.

  • WhatsApp tends to get the quickest replies for trades.
  • Leave a day blank if you're closed — the page shows an honest "open now" status.
5

Add a TikTok and a photo

Paste the link to one of your TikToks and it embeds right on your page. Add a logo or a headshot so the page feels like yours. A photo is required — it's the first thing customers see.

  • Copy the link straight from the TikTok app's Share button.
  • Pick a clear, well-lit photo — it carries the whole card.
6

Share your link and QR code

Your page is live. Share the link anywhere, and print the QR code on a sticker, a sign or the van so people can scan straight through. Then watch the taps, shares and scans come in.

  • Put the link in your TikTok and Instagram bio.
  • Stick the QR code where customers already stand — the counter, the window, the van door.
